1. Agreement Overview

These terms of service (“Terms”) govern the relationship between you (“Client”, “you”) and our web design service (“we”, “us”, “our”) when you purchase website design, development, or hosting services from us. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

We are a UK-based fixed-price web design service. We design, build, and host websites for a single, transparent, up-front fee with no hidden charges.

2. Services Provided

We provide the following services:

Website design and development – a custom-built website using Hugo, a modern static site generator, delivered as agreed in the project scope.
Website hosting – free lifetime hosting on our platform at statichost.uk, subject to our Acceptable Use Policy.
Revisions – up to three rounds of revisions are included with every project (see Section 6).

The exact scope of each project is agreed in writing before work begins, based on the package selected and any additional requirements discussed.

3. Payment Terms

All prices are fixed and quoted in British Pounds (GBP).
Full payment is required up-front before any design or development work commences.
Payment can be made by the methods listed on our website at the time of purchase.
We will not begin work until payment has been received and confirmed.
All prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable.

4. 14-Day Money Back Guarantee

We offer a 14-day money back guarantee from the date we deliver your initial design preview.

If you are not satisfied with the initial design preview, you may request a full refund within 14 days of receiving it.
The guarantee expires once you approve the initial preview and move into the revision phase.
To request a refund, contact us in writing (email is fine).
Refunds will be processed within 14 days of your request using the original payment method.

5. Intellectual Property

Upon full payment and final delivery, you own the finished website in its entirety, including all custom design work, content you provided, and the compiled output.
Any stock images, fonts, or third-party assets included in the project are subject to their own licence terms, which we will communicate to you.
We reserve the right to display the completed project in our portfolio unless you request otherwise in writing.

6. Revisions

Every project includes up to three rounds of revisions after the initial design preview has been approved.
A “round of revisions” means a single batch of feedback submitted together in writing.
Revisions cover changes to layout, colours, typography, content placement, and similar design adjustments within the original project scope.
Requests that fall outside the original scope (such as additional pages or new functionality) may be quoted separately.
Once all three rounds of revisions have been used, or you confirm you are happy with the final result, the project is considered complete.

7. Hosting Terms

Every completed project includes free lifetime hosting on our platform at statichost.uk.
“Lifetime” means for as long as we continue to operate the statichost.uk hosting service.
Hosting is provided subject to our Acceptable Use Policy.
We will make reasonable efforts to maintain high availability, but we do not guarantee 100% uptime.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate hosting if the Acceptable Use Policy is breached.
Should we ever discontinue the hosting service, we will provide at least 90 days’ written notice and supply you with a complete copy of your website files so you can host elsewhere.

8. Client Responsibilities

You are responsible for providing all text content, images, logos, and other materials needed for the project in a timely manner.
You confirm that any materials you provide are owned by you or that you have the right to use them.
You are responsible for reviewing and approving work at each stage of the project.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from or in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the service.
We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Cancellation

You may cancel your order at any time before work begins for a full refund.
Once work has begun, the 14-day money back guarantee (Section 4) applies.
After the guarantee period has expired, no refunds will be issued for completed or in-progress work.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify existing clients by email. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
